Have you ever noticed your child wanting to read the same book again and again?

Repetition is how young children learn.

In Montessori classrooms, children repeat activities until they master them. Repetition:

  • Strengthens neural pathways

  • Builds concentration

  • Develops confidence

  • Supports independence

When children choose to repeat an activity, they are constructing their understanding. What may seem repetitive to adults is essential brain development.
