FULL DAY CLASS 8:30 AM TO 3:00 PM

You have the option to enroll your child in our morning or afternoon class. Each class is a 3 hour Montessori work cycle. We also have an option for morning class children to extend their day by 30 minutes to 12pm by joining the lunch club program.

CLASS SCHEDULE
ARRIVAL AND QUIET WORK
8:30 AM or 12 PM
The children are warmly greeted at the door. They hang up their coats, put their backpacks in their cubbies, put on their indoor shoes and choose a quiet activity while the other children arrive.
CIRCLE TIME
9:00 AM or 12:30 PM
The children put away their morning work and come together in circle. The teachers lead the children in group songs, movement, stories and lessons.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The children practice their balance, coordination, flexibility and strength either inside in our gym, outside at the park or green space beside the school.
9:45 AM or 1:15 PM
SNACK TIME
10:15 AM or 1:45 PM
After washing their hands, the children bring their home prepared snacks to the communal tables and eat their snacks with their classmates.
MONTESSORI WORK
10:45 AM or 2:15 PM
The children clean up their snack and select the Montessori material of their choice to work on for the remainder of the day. At this time, they also spend time working on the weekly craft activity that aligns to the monthly theme.
DEPARTURE
11:30 AM or 3:00 PM
The children put away their work, put on their shoes, coats and backpacks and wait to be called to the door for parent pick-up.
